2. Where do I go if I want to file a civil suit against someone for money owed me?: Depending on the amount, either Magistrate Court or Lea County District Court in Lovington. You can call Magistrate Court at 575-397-3621 or 575-396-6677 or the District Court at 575-396-8571.

3. Where do I go to get a restraining order on someone?: You will need to go to the Lea County District Court in Lovington. One of the judges will need to sign the order for it in order for it to be in effect. You may contact the District Court Clerk's office for more information at 575-396-8571.

4. How do I contact the District Attorney’s office?: The District Attorney's office number is 575-397-2471.

5. How do I contact the Public Defender’s office?: The Public Defender's office number is 575-397-5230

6. How do I contact Legal Aid?
