Lea County Communication Authority Is Fully Accredited
LCCA earned the 2015 NACo National Achievement Award.
Multiple state and national awards have recognized the Lea County Communications Authority (LCCA) for its achievements with innovative improvements for public safety and the recent consolidation of communications for all first responders.
On June 5, 2015, the National Association of Counties (NACo) granted Lea County a 2015 NACo Achievement Award for its program titled "Lea County Communications Authority" in the category of Criminal Justice and Public Safety. NACo sent congratulations to everyone involved who developed this innovative program.
About Us
Mission Statement: We, the employees of the Lea County Communications Authority, are committed to providing quality service to all public safety agencies, enabling these agencies to perform their duties effectively and efficiently, and to provide requested services to citizens and other departments in a courteous, helpful and timely manner, while maintaining a high standard of professionalism.
A total of 39 dispatchers are employed with the Lea County Communications Authority. We answer 911 calls for all of Lea County, which includes Hobbs, Lovington, Eunice, Jal, and Tatum. We also can dispatch emergency and non-emergency agencies to all parts of Lea County.
LCCA is loyal and courteous to all citizens of Lea County while maintaining a commitment to customer service and assuring that the community’s emergency services and communication needs are met, now and in the future.
Agencies we currently support: Lea County Sheriff, Hobbs Police Department, Eunice Police Department, Lovington Police Department, Tatum Police Department, Hobbs Fire Department, Knowles Fire Department, Maljamar Fire Department, Monument Fire Department, Lovington Fire Department, Tatum Fire Department, and Eunice Fire Department.
