The Community Development Department carries out several functions: Planning, GIS and Mapping, Addressing, and Subdivisions.
To ensure that all community development reflects Lea County's vision for the future and the best interests of the community as identified by the Lea County Comprehensive Plan and other long-range planning documents adopted by the Board of Commissioners. The various sections of the Community Development Department uphold and administer respective regulations and support other Lea County departments in their daily operations.
