Departmental Mission: It is the Mission of the Lea County Fairgrounds to provide superior programs, facilities and services to enhance the quality of life for the citizens of Lea County and its visitors, through commitment to teamwork, effective use of resources and fulfillment of community needs.
Departmental Goals: Knowing that Lea County has the opportunity to provide its citizens with an extraordinary fair and rodeo facility it is the goal of the Fairgrounds to provide quality fair facilities, superior rodeo productions, educational programs and economic interchange within the community through maximizing facility utilization.
Departmental Strategy: In order to achieve the goals the Fairgrounds will actively market the facility in order to attract new entertainment productions conducive with such a facility, which will entertain diversification within the fair and rodeo target market.
Departmental Objectives: Professionally manage the facility and utilize resources that will ensure a safe and economically sound environment for patrons and clients. Strengthen relationships throughout the community by educating the citizens of the availability of the facility and encouraging the use of the facility. Promote the facility via the Internet and increase market presence through technology. Promote customer service and satisfaction by providing superior service.
