Departmental Mission: The mission of EMS is to provide emergency and non-emergency services for the protection of life and property of the citizens that are entrusted to our care.
Departmental Goals: The primary function of the Emergency Medical Services is to respond, stabilize, treat and package the patient.
Departmental Strategy: The Lea County EMS will become a model for providing responsive, quality emergency and preventative services. Effectively serving the public remains our highest priority. We will always value our personnel as dedicated and compassionate professionals, who continuously strive to meet the challenging needs of our community. We will actively participate in community life and, by example, serve as leaders and role models.
