INSTALL NEW HVAC SYSTEM

LEA COUNTY EVENT CENTER

LEA COUNTY BID NO. 28 - (07-08)

RECEIPT OF BIDS: Competitive sealed Bids will be received by Lea County, Lea County Courthouse, 100 N. Main, Suite 11, Lovington NM 88260-4030, until 3:00 p.m. (local time) on April 30, 2008 for Lea County Event Center HVAC System Installation in accordance with Drawings, Specifications and other Contract Documents prepared M & E Engineering, Inc.

BIDS WILL BE PUBLICLY OPENED AND READ ALOUD.

OBTAINING CONTRACT DOCUMENTS: Drawings, Specifications and other Contract Documents may be obtained from M & E Engineering, 1222 Luisa, Suite B, Santa Fe, NM upon payment of a deposit of $ 100.00 per set. The deposit shall be in check form and shall be payable to M & E Engineering. The deposit for each set will be refunded upon return of the Contract Documents in good condition not later than fifteen (15) days following the opening of Bids. Documents may also be examined in the plan rooms.

BID SECURITY: Each Bid shall be accompanied by an acceptable form of Bid Security in an amount of equal to at least five (5) percent of the amount of the Proposal payable to Lea County as a guaranty that if the Bid is accepted, the Bidder will execute the contract and file acceptable Performance and Labor and Material Payment Bonds within fifteen (15) days after Notice of Award.

OWNERS RIGHTS RESERVED: Lea County hereinafter called the Owner, reserves the right to reject any or all Bids and to waive any formality or technicality in any Proposal in the Interest of the Owner.

A Pre-Bid Conference will be held on Tuesday, April 15, 2008 at 1:00 p.m. at the Lea County Event Center.
