Emergency management is a coordinated effort, involving local, state, and federal agencies as well as volunteer organizations. These organizations assist the public and communities to prepare for, respond, and recover from
the effects of natural, civil, and technological emergencies and disasters. The primary goal of emergency management is to promote awareness, prevent injuries, save lives, and reduce property damage in our community.
