Magistrate Divisions and Division Maps |
On January 1, 2011 the five (5) Magistrate Divisions will be reduced to four (4) divisions. For the 2010 and subsequent elections, the composition of the divisions for elections and residence purpose is as follows:
- Division 1 is composed of Lea County precincts 23, 24, 25, 26, 27, 28, 29, 30, 32, 41, 42, 43
- Division 2 is composed of Lea County precincts 33, 34, 35, 44, 51, 52, 53, 54, 55, 61
- Division 3 is composed of Lea County precincts 20, 22, 31, 36, 62, 71, 72, 73, 74
- Division 4 is composed of Lea County precincts 2, 3, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, 21

IDENTIFICATION REQUIREMENT |
No matter where or how you vote in New
Mexico, you will be required to identify yourself at the polls by one of
the following means:
- a current and valid photo ID, voter registration card, utility
bill, bank statement, government check, paycheck stub, student ID or
other government document
- a verbal or written statement stating your name, year of birth
and registered address.
